Lyrics

IF I DIDNT HAVE YOU!

WELL IT WOULDNT BE FAIR, TO CALL MYSELF A MILLIONAIRE
BUT BEING WITH YOU---MAKES ---ME WANT TO!
I CANT BELIEVE THAT YOUR MINE--SMILIN THROUGH A GLASS OF WINE
IT WOULDN'T BE TRUE, IF I, DIDNT HAVE YOU!

IF I DIDN'T HAVE YOU, ID SEARCH MY LIFE THROUGH
UNTIL I HEARD YOU WHISPER, BABY I DO!

MUSICAL INTERLUDE AND KEY CHANGE

IF I DIDNT HAVE YOU, ID SEARCH ALL DAY LONG!
UNTIL I HAD YOU IN MY ARMS--THAT'S WHERE YOU BELONG!

FIRST VERSE AGAIN END

Song reminds a bit of Randy Newman. The idea and lyrics are good and recording is rather decent

Nice feel, overall. I get the concept here.
Really cool ideas happening.

Very cool, kind of a Macartney sound and feel almost cabaret. Most enjoyable tune. Old school sound and feel.

The song takes me to France because of the accordion. Nice bluesy world type of production. Well done

Waow, was not expecting a sound like this!
Intro had me wondering!!!
I feel like I have just walked into the Old Village Hall where all are dancing: Sliding around the floor!
Sensitive accordion infill! Sounds as if it is tentatively supporting the music in creating an "Old Time". Sound!
Vocals really suited the ambience of your song.
Your Lyrics are uncomplicated, simple and timeless yet Hit The Mark!
Like the pause and Interlude.
Change of key always enhances a song!
Classic and effective placing of, "If I Didn't Have You" at the beginning and end of verses etc!
Cannot align you with a specific artist apart from hearing that Endearing and Timeless Village Hall sound!
Bravo!

I like the style could be fit with tv show or anime like lucky luc

Unique voice and unique sound.

The voice is reminiscent of early 1900's to the 20's and carries a melody that brisky moves along to go with the words telling its story. The group is evolving and the accordian and drum helps it keep a homemade intimate style. I love the lyrics and the arrangement goes together with an itimate style that could be heard in a bar perhaps, or a restaurant. The echo gives it a feeling of some empty spce and not a confines area. Its a great style and even belongs in the present. Iys good to hear this happening these days. Excellent overall.

It reminds me of Joplin. I like it very different from what I am used to.

Very @ Jolsen"
Era. 1920's. Kind of remind me Leon Redbone

Fun, catchy blues tune with a touch of ragtime! Great vocals add spark to this song. Nice work!

This song had me dancing from the very start. Would have loved to hear a back story.

To my ears this tune has a Vaudeville feel and flavor. Very old timey. I haven't had much exposure to this kind of music, but the limited experiences I have had with it puts this song on par with other tunes I have heard in this genre. It's challenging to review music I have had very little exposure to . I can't really compare it to another song within the genre because I don't know another song in this genre. But I can say that It doesn't sound fake or forced to me. That's always good!

Love it! Honky tonk with modern wide stereo production

Great song.... this song will find a home for sure...

Great work, I enjoyed listening. I like the originality............................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................................Keep up the great work!!

really could hear the vocals clear but was it was ok ..

Nice jazz/live song. I enjoyed the rhythm throughout the song. Nice use of instrumentation gave it a romantic jazz feel to it.

Love this reminds me of a cross between big band and old ragtime jazz. I could see this in a gangster movie with a lounge act seen.

I love the piano work. I'm assuming we're working with a pianist singer here? There is a ton of potential for a lot of work. The sound is unique, and it definitely fits a niche. I appreciate the unique vocal and the accordion (?) I'm imagining taking in the song while having a glass of wine with my wife on a terrace somewhere. The arrangement is light and airy, which works. I would like to hear more.

Reminds me of many quirky songs from the 70's, like those by Noosha Fox.

Don't know enough about this genre of music, to appropriate rating.

Catchy Piano, kinda makes you move when you hear it.The piano has a nice rag time sound. Made me think of a Charlie Chaplin movie. It has that old time feel about it. The Accordion is nice. Good job.

OMG!! This is so very cool, I am a real sucker for this old Timey style music!! It's a tad rough on the edges musically, but that may make it even cooler! This tune could be in a film about the 20's. Love the rather old instrumentation and the Lead vocal is really quite unique, but again, that's what makes it interesting!!! Great Job......
I have a feeling who this is, but I won't know till I press submit!!!

Very cool tune Patrick!! Really fun lyric!! I love the attitude you put into it! So fun, so easy to listen to!! Kudos!!

This for some reason makes me think of Disney music, Hades from the original Hercules is one of the voices that comes to mind off the top of my head. I love the originality, this is more jazz than classical but it's great. The drums are simple yet fulfilling. Also Oogie Boogie from Nightmare before Christmas, that singing style is very fitting.

The song is good, with decent lyrics. It has potential. You have talent for writing this type of genre. Just needs a much better/higher quality production. And much better vocals. I would get a pro to sing this, and have them give it a pro arrangement/instrumentation. The song could sell if you did that. But it isn't going to with the current production/vocals. Again, you have talent, so I would get a better production. Then you'll have something. Good luck!!! :)

Variety is always good. This music is reminiscent of something that must have existed before the roaring '20's. The old piano sound and accordion? is very effective. The first verse is good. Altogether it is pleasant.

This song is adorable. I could totally hear this playing in a movie, or even Disney production. I feel like it has total market potential.

nice vocal tone. good movement. i like the accordion!

This love song has a honky-tonk Cajun feel that makes it fun to listen to. My favorite rhymes: fair/millionaire, mine/wine. The piano and concertina made me smile. The vocalist has a very singular, unique sound. Percussion is really nice in this song.
